Cineform and AVCHD on same timeline?

I did a green screen keying test in Premiere CS4, actually in After Effects CS4, but their dynamically linked so i can see the results in Premiere. I used the Neoscene trial to turn the green screen footage into cineform codec, because it keys much easier than the .Mts files that come straight off the camera. My question is, can i just transcode the green screen footage to cineform and then pull the rest of my clips that dont involve green screen in as AVCHD to save space? (this will be a lengthy project so any space i can save would be great) or will the two not mesh together on one time line? If not, is there a way around it?

I'll test myself when i get home later tonight but just though it would be interesting to see if anyone had any experience with this. thanks!

If I'm reading this correctly -- then the answer is not only 'YES,' -- but, you'll have to -- because the current version of After Effects is very, very bad with AVCHD from the 150 -- it skips frames and invents other unique glitches. Sometimes you can get away with small AVCHD clips in After Effects -- but the longer the clip the more likely you'll run into some innovative new problem.

The best way to use clips from the HMC150 in After Effects is to transcode it to another format, such as Cineform.
