FS7: Cinefocus Pro or CineFocus R3 with FS7 stock lens

I am looking at buying a Shoot35 CineFocus Pro (probably later version of the R3) to use with the Sony FS7 SELP28135G stock lens. This lens uses a 95mm dia. lens filter so the focus ring is between 100mm and 105mm dia.
Is there anyone using this follow focus with the Sony lens as not sure if the gear will swing out far enough when using with this large dia lens. Probably okay but don't want to order and have to return.
Thanks Peter

CINEfocus Pro's arm will reach the 28-135mm's barrel, but the drive gear is too wide for the len's narrow focus gear. Also seems the focus gear's tooth pitch is not cine standard (0.8) either.

Shoot35 offers custom drive gears in case you want a different gearing ratio, so perhaps they might also make one optimized for the 28-135mm's oddball focus gear.

Wayne's always been responsive to my emails so suggest giving him a shout. If you do customize a drive gear I'd be interested in buying one also. Plan on ordering a faster drive gear (1:2) for cinema lenses anyways, so it be good to combine shipping on them both.

Thanks Bern you comments are appreciated.

The Shoot35 CINEfocus Pro's gear is 0.8 pitch and I was planning on adding a matching 0.8 Flexigear ring (or similar) onto the Sony lens.

I will contact Wayne re the option of a 1:2 gear for cinema lenses and report back.

Don't have that lens but I do have the cinefocus and have worked with Wayne for years and highly recommend him. The cinefocus is great - way better than the POS Arri I bought years ago.
