CINE V showing up as CINE D

I have selected CINE V, but when I press the Disp/Mode Chk button it shows up on the LCD as having selected CINE D.

Is anyone else seeing this?

Is it showing you the name of the scene file setting and not the actual gamma?

I'm pretty sure this may be what's happening. If you use the pre-loaded scene files, and make changes to the settings, you'll still see the name of the original scene file in DISP mode. (In this case, "CINE D", I believe.)

They're correct -- the scene file itself is named "CINE D", just like F3 is named "SPARK". You're seeing the name of the scene file displayed, you're not seeing the actual contents of the scene file. Try changing the gamma to HD NORM and press disp/mode chk, you'll see that the name displayed is still cine-D.
