Why pay extra to have a wireless remote + servo motor in each and every lens? I use a Cinegears or Redrock micro remote and rely on them no matter what lens I have mounted. Their weight is negligible, but, the amount of lens control I get is noteworthy. With features like thumbwheels, 4 predefined positions, auto cal, and scaling, I can get so much more out of a lens for a single purchase, without having to worry about buying a lens with these features incorporated or having a camera body that supports the control features. And the flexibility lets me choose from a pretty good selection of lenses with superb optical quality without paying for the electronics.
