I am testing on the dell 24 inch monitor cine-d vs cine-v and I am very torn between the too.
cine-d
- great range
- more noise
- more milky blacks
- overall more filmic image
cine-v
- high contrast
- less noise
- great blacks
I am thinking cine-d is better for a comedy (what we are prepping for) - but will we be painting ourselves into a corner with the noise and blacks?
Anyone else agonizing over this decision?
Finally, anyone think you can mix gamma setting in one film if they are split on different types of scenes?
