Church Video NWC

Greetings all,

This was a run and gun shoot I did for our church here in Orlando. Its going to be part of a dance performance that's going down this weekend. They got the rights to use this BF5 tune. Shot in an hour and kind of run and gun, winging it as we went along. The water stuff was terrible to shoot as the temp was only 52 degrees. Shot 720/24/ 60fps newspress gamma.

feedback welcome...

Brilliant work as always Justyn. Great fades throughout and the water footage was amazing too. you shot the whole thing 720/24/ 60fps newspress gamma? Looks great :)

Thanks Kamikaze. Appreciate that. It was all pretty much that... I believe. I only had an hour with them and the pool stuff could have been a lot better as it was so cold it was taking my breath away so I floated mostly and shot down blindly. I have something else to shoot soon that should be good.

Cheers

Wow, that's awesome nonetheless. I was shooting last weekend here (Idaho) with all the snow and trying to find a decent color balance, it's exactly how they say, shooting in snow is a nightmare, But the temperature was a bone chilling 2 degrees. The HVX held up just fine, of course, but I had to stop after filling an 8GB card. Should have some stuff up soon with that. Once again great work and can't wait to see more stuff.

ps. what ever happened to "taking a crap in high definition" video you did, that was halarious lol

Kamikaze.. lol. Thanks for remembering that clip. It became part of a little sketch comedy series I did. Will hopefully get enough time to get back to it and finish it up. You can check it out on youtube though.. got like 12 of them done here:

ONe other thing that I've done in extreme conditions like you describe is to shoot with a faster shutter and use both a polorizer and a haze filter. I shoot most if not all of my exterirors with both filters and that fast shutter and it just allows me to keep things from blowing out as much... Highly recommend that and might be nict to pick up one of those contrast filters too...

cheers and thanks again!
