Chuck Norris and the Chopsticks of Doom! GH1 Short

Hey guys, I just finished this video that I made to post to my youtube channel.

Occasionally I need a break from commercials and want to do something fun. Take a look, let me know what you think. I know there are a few areas that I screwed up, like the completely blown out wall in the background and the few shots that went against the 180 rule.

Usually I'm a stickler about that, but somehow I missed in while shooting. Oh well.

Wow. I'm guessing the GH1 doesn't get nearly as many views as the DVX used to. Ahhhh, those were the days, post something and in five minutes have thirty members tell you what you did wrong.

That's how I learned to shoot. :)

checked it out the other day-- good work-

the link isn't working here at dvxuser- I had to pull the url out of the top of white box and plug it in manually. Probably why little or no response.

Chuck's voice is strange for me. He kind of has a wimpier voice in reality...for me that's the funny irony about the guy- he's kind of nerdy- but kicks major a$$-
I do like how the voice has a bit of a reverb and the guys on the couch call it out- kind of breaking the 4 th wall- kudos there
"how is that even relevant?" LOL...awesome

Fixed it...sort of. I'm not sure why the code shows above the video after you click "I agree".

You need only put the unique identifier inbetween the {YT} and {/YT} (angle brackets as required...)

Your Youtube id was: 8wcuFie_GCg

You don't need the '< object ...' stuff, nor the 'http:...' stuff...

just the number.

For me the color was pretty washed out. If possible using a lower ISO value, so that you could shoot wider
open, or using ND filters (on windows or lens depending on the 'look' your are going for) to cut down the light,
would help.

This is one of the problems with that 'narrow' DoF deal, is that you need to shoot wider open, and hence, may
need to cut down light via additional means.

I'll need to watch when I am not at work, my powerbook g4 is so damn slow, but figured I'd comment about people not posting anymore. It seems people would rather post 50 times in a technical thread and on test shots, rather than on videos people actually put creative energy into.

Some test videos are nice, but in the end they are still test videos. My random montage test videos get more views and comment than my actual work that I put time and effort into.
