Chromakey: DVCPRO-HD versus DVCPRO50

I've seen elsewhere that other issues should rule the decision between shooting in HD and in Pro50, and that both have 4:2:2 color space.

My question's are:
1) Will the results of shooting in DVCPRO-HD, performing chromakey, and then downrezzing to DVCPRO50 produce better results than shooting and doing the chromakey in DVCPRO50 due to the additional resolution (thinking that the artifacts will be smaller and less noticeable)?

2) I read that the DVCPRO-HD compresses the horizontal resolution to 960 pixels and then expands that on playback. If this is the case, for chromakey work, is it just better to use DVCPRO50 in favor of DVCPRO-HD because the compression could cause artifacts in chromakey?

Thanks for your advice and insight. I'm trying to decide where to start with a planned project and I don't have the HVX yet to run my own tests.
