Chroma Key without After Effects?

I shot a music video against a green screen months ago and roughed it out. You can watch it here: vimeo.com/4692214

I don't have a lot of time to devote to this project. Initially, I anticipated using After Effects to create a 3-D environment. Too time consuming. Anyone have any ideas of a quick solution to have my singer and actress roaming through the fields without weeks of work? I edit on Final Cut Pro, and prefer to keep the project out of After Effects.

Appreciate any thoughts! Tommy

I really don't see any other way. Remember, in after effects, actually in most things; taking the time and not rushing through it will give you the best quality.

It looks like cheesy works. You just need two or three plates for a simple composite, I really don't know what kind of answer you're looking for. Or what you expect to do that won't take long.
