Chroma key problems - looks ok, but renders bad.

I am having trouble with getting it right, because an odd thing happens in the render :
When I adjust the key via the client monitor with render-on-the-fly, everything seems fine. But when I do the actual render I get artifacts in some areas on the video. I havn't had this problem before, because the preview render and the real render, has alway been the same.

I have used the dvx-100 camera (and also used 25p video, although captured at 25i) which is a bit disregarded as good for keying, but it looks good on render-on-the-fly. I assume there is a difference in the way these to renders work, but what is it?

Anybody?

Are you using the Avid supplied keyer or a third part keyer?

I'm still not sure why the Avid chroma keyer is included. Not sure what it could be used for.
I have great success with Ultimatte. There are others you choose from. The keyer in BCC is great and Primatte is great. Scope out the plugins listed here...

not all of em are for keying but it's a good link for you to have.
