Christmas Short Film Scene

Hey guys. I am filming a Christmas short film this week. We filmed a small little scene last night. Check it out. The acting is not the greatest, no one is getting paid. This is something I decided to do for church, but maybe you can give me tips on lighting, CCing, etc. for tomorrow. Tomorrow we will be filming the rest of the film. Basically, the entire film is going to be in dark situations. In a house where it seems like all the lights are off. Thanks and God bless!

P.S. The audio is compressed so the hissing noise in the voices is not actually there. Hehe

Not bad. I really liked the door handle shot. The girls though, are lit rather harsh. I would use more fill on them. Guys you can get away with harsh shadows, but women you want less contrast on, even in noir style lighting.

Generally, I think women are either completely silhouetted, or have some light on them everywhere (for there faces at least). Since you want it to still look dark this will be a challenge to get the perfect amount of fill, but hopefully you can find something that works.

This is kinda what I'm talking about (sorry, tend to think in B+W so that's what always come to mind).

hmmm...maybe a relfector? just a white board near their face? it's because I like my shots with a lot of contrast (kinda like michael bay style) I absolutely love it. Like Bad Boys II feel. Haha! But thanks for the tip. Anyone else?
