I am officially announcing my intention of entering Adfest. After a false start for both Dramafest and Spyfest I wanted to be sure that I'd make this one.

I just finished shooting it, so I'm reasonably comfortable with this announcement. :)

The score was just delivered to me. It's fantastic! Above and beyond anything that I was expecting or hoping for.

File should be uploaded tonight, which is good because I'm flying on the 1st and wasn't sure how I was going to be able to handle that. :)

Looking forward to all the other entries!
 
Saw your ad... cute.

If I had any comments it would be to keep the camera locked at the same depth, and cross-fade shots of the girl moving around the bench, and intercut that with CU's of her feet or her eyes, and really ramp the anticipation up. It was cute nonetheless, good work :thumbsup:

To the ad itself:

Overall a very good concept and well executed. I like the different cuts to the girl, however, like Brandon I think the feeling of "waiting" could be improved. The anticipation of the girl could be emphasized a little more, maybe with a closeup of the girl being hungry or a smile at the end when she says "I love you Dady".
Finally the slogan and VO work very well and they provide a nice ending to the ad.

Praises also to Leandro for another fitting score. I don't know how you manage to get that quality in such little time. Awesome!
 
I think it's massively unfair using such an adorable little girl in your commercial. It's difficult to compete with that :)

However, objectively speaking, Brandon's point is a good one I think. Of course it's important that we don't know exactly where the commercial is leading. But the more you build up that tension, the stronger the payoff becomes at the end -- even for something as pleasant and relaxing as this 30-second spot.

"Cute" is the word. Fun to watch!
