Choppy audio

I'm getting some choppy audio when I export to a quicktime video. I've done an audio mixdown and checked all of my settings. I've used these settings before and it's worked fine. For some reason this project is being a pain.

It's fine on the timeline however when I export the first 5-10 seconds are all choppy.

How long have you been using the same "user settings"? These files get written over and over again and sooner or later they become corrupted. Unfortunately, there's no real indication that the user file is corrupted other than odd behavior from the system. Create a new user an export the file again.
 
Hmm i'll check that out and see if that is the issue.

I'm going to try a few more audio tweaks and see if I can fix it.

Just out of curiosity what audio settings do you guys normally use when exporting?
 
Try exporting your export settings to single field.

Not sure why it would just be the first 5-10 though. Are the sample rates consistent?
