It's a funny old dynamic the messageboard eColosseum. There's similar archetypes no matter what the messageboard theme - the atheist/theist ones seem to spill the most eBlood.
 
Not sure if I get your "films". Just seems like a rant caught on tape with some funny stuff edited in here and there.

Perhaps its because im a bit younger, and being on forums of various types is something that ive been doing in some shape or form since adolecence. They are sort of mini interactions that rarely merit any mention in RL unless some sort of epic reach from beyond the screen occurs (see /b/ ) or what have you.

I do find this interesting though, perhaps this is a realistic look at how an older generation (please forgive me for saying so, not to imply you are old at all) views the internet and a genuine reaction to the day to day anoynomous interactions that go on there.

Fascinating when you think of it in that regard.

Either way, if im even typing this post then i must have had enough of an opinion to watch it in its entirety (a first for one of your films i think), and to actually comment on it in some form.

So perhaps you have succeeded in exactly what you set out to do.

Yo Pastor - The worst brawling I ever saw was when I went looking for the photographer of a picture on this board for vets of the Serbo-Croatian War. When they said they wanted to kill you they were serious. Man, it was actually scary, all that hate between the 2 sides. It was obvious some had killed combatants and non-combatants. :kali:


@ jonES - Nice you could make it through to the end. :beer: Though I'd say I've seen plenty bickering on boards from all age groups, young, old, in-between. Man's propensity for clustering and bullying has no age requirement.
 
If I remember correctly, I did my part to turn that thread around. I had taken notice that you were getting a string of negative feedback that wasn't very productive in a critical sense. I know I would easily get flustered if that happened to me

anyways, I enjoy your films and your motivation to use the internet to get them out there. I think a lot of us are in the same boat

Seriously though, I really enjoyed this one. Seemed like a lighter side of you.
