Chip on my HMC 150 Lens...

Last August I had a projectile hit my lens and leave a small chip... I usually have a filter on but for some reason I didn't this particular day.
It doesn't look big but when i film with direct light coming into the camera the chip is visible. looks like a little smudge and grows the more I zoom in.

Anyone have any solutions? Obviously don't film into direct light... Is a lens replacement possible?

I think you have 2 choices, live with it or send it in for repair. They will more than likely quote you a whole new lens assembly. A quick call will get you the info.
I like to film speedway racing on cinder tracks, I ALWAYS keep a filter on, several times I have had to shake the dirt out of my lens hood.
