Hello and welcome back to Chinatown!

Our hero had just whooped the gangster's asses and now hes taking a sad walk home. Why sad? Well first he is in pain, and so he holds an ice pack to his face and his hands, burnt from the fiery energies that he used to defeat his enemies are bandaged up...and well...he is shocked at his own ferociousness, something hes never experienced before (oh what is happening to him??)....but as he walks by, he spots something, or someone interesting ;)

just watch this clip

for those of you who dont know, Chinatown series are little clips from a feature I'm working on.

enjoy the latest edition of Chinatown!

I'm still amazed when I watch your 'steadicam' shots. This stuff looks good!

Your focus looked a little soft when he was waiting at the light.

And I'm assuming the pretty blond chick is going to be come back later, otherwise you're just tantalizing us (and your flame-fists waiter) by throwing her in there like that.

As always, exciting stuff. Looking forward to episode 9 (am I right? 9?)

I have decided now we are going to lock you and Barry Green in a dungeon with your own respective cells unitl you finish this movie and Barry writes every ounce of knowledge in his Brain.

This is really good stuff. I want to see whole thing, definitely.

glasscat - yup, gotta reshoot that one shot, heh
bluespider - the girl was someone that I sorta knew but not really - I emailed her like the night before and asked her to come out for a few shots and I think she will play a bigger role in the film later (stephen chow is the man! check out his new film, "kung fu hustle"
darkstyle - my life ambition is to be "spiku"
muir boda - I already am sorta locked in my cell trying to fniish the movie ;)

I'd like to see the shot of the girl looking back at him just as she passes him not after. If she is going to be part of the story. I think by doing so then brings her into the story better.

Plus its always nice to have a love story thrown in there.

Re: CHINATOWN: Part 8- Waiter's Sad Walk Home and

i think when they're checking eachother out, the guy turning away is too obvious.. too acted, also the girl walking up seems purposely looking into the camera, those 2 parts i think not natural enough, but the rest is cool, including the girl hesitantly turning back... well that wut i sink ::)
