Children's Shakespeare film trailer

[kellyboy]

Hey cats,

Would love to see what you think of this little trailer. My wife and I decided to make a film of "Midsumer Night's Dream" with children and my wife doing the parts. We're still shooting. It's amazing that the 8 year olds can do Shakespeare.

Great Footage!

Great Footage!

WOW! I mean WOW!

That looks great. Are the kids actors or just your kids/friends of the family?

The exposure was consistent from shot to shot and there were some amazing compositions in there. The dolly/crane moves helped add to the production value immensely. The kids and even your wife look great in the parts!

I especially like the shot of the girl near the end of the trailer with the brown hair blowing in the wind (and possibly a small dolly in?). Amazing. I also like the shot of the kids walking down the sunlit path away from the camera (about halfway through).

Even the costuming/settings seemed believable for the most part.

Would love to see a trailer similar to what you have but with some of the dialogue included and maybe some nice titles.

Keep it up and tell everyone great job!

Thanks all!

The kids are all amateurs, but my wife is a professional actress.
Yes, I have one of those $200 cranes that work pretty well, and also a homemade skateboard wheel dolly running on PVC pipe track. It's all DVX footage.
I appreciate your comments.
Happy Holidays.
