A group protest outside the swedish meteorological institute, the transport agency and the civil aviation administration. The protesters are convinced that the authorities are not telling the truth about chemtrails and that there lies a conspiracy behind it.

The filmmaker Daniel Hållquist joins the protesting group and documents what they say and what they do and tries to find out what their purpuse with the demonstration is.

Well chemtrails or not, the exhaust trails do have a huge effect on the weather. I live near a main airport and some days it is cloudy because of the trails.
 
What a pile of poo! Unsubstantiated scaremongering drivel. People clearly odd and totally unconvincing as proponents of their theory. I saw mind control and automatically popped them into the crazies category

The computer generated voice made it poor science fiction. I lost the will to live with the wild claims, that said there was no evidence because it's secret. Crazy logic. The absence of evidence is evidence?
 
I’m a former military pilot, and currently a captain for the world’s largest airline.

These guys are loony. Contrails are heat differentials affecting relative moisture in the atmosphere...sometimes it’s drier at altitude, and they don’t appear. Sometimes there is more moisture, and we make ‘em.

Always fun to hear the latest conspiracies, though. Good luck with the doc.
 
It is sad that this silly chemtrail discussion distracts from the real problem with contrails.
Persistent spreading contrails (from ships and planes) are suspected to have an effect on global climate.
(And downvoting won't change that.)

I had a neighbor who, when he opened a bottled beer and it foamed out and over the top of the bottle, said it was proof the government was after him. Then there was the consistent conspiracy in the '60s that there were carburetors that could get 100 miles to the gallon and the oil companies were suppressing people from producing them. It's amazing what people go for.

Always helpful to use critical thinking and logic, and to search for the truth, wherever it may lead.

Using unrelated examples such as flat Earth of beer foam don't contribute to finding the truth. When applying critical thinking to flat Earth, for example, we can construct a proof and specific actions that others can try so they can see that the Earth is more round than flat (a kind of distorted sphere when measured accurately- a spheroid). For example, drive a car, boat, or plane for some distance and we can see the Earth is curved. Study the stars and we can see the Earth is rotating. While it's entirely possible our reality exists under some kind of advanced technological reality distortion field or even virtual reality, Occam's Razor helps give a practical answer that such things either don't exist or don't matter in our reality. We can use a spheroid rotating Earth to build navigation systems, etc., whereas the other theories don't provide any useful utility and have no testable elements, so no point debating them other than for science fiction and entertainment.

Chemtrails are Real

When a jet engine burns JPx etc. (basically kerosene similar to diesel + various additives: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jet_fuel ), it leaves a trail of chemicals:

Condensed water vapor trials are also technically a chemical trail (H20).

The bigger question, is are there other additives in the jet fuel, such as barium, aluminum etc. that are added for purposes other than making the jet engine provide thrust and protecting engine components from wear. The problem today with calling something a Conspiracy Theory, is that too many people are now awake about the origin of the term Conspiracy Theory, what it was used for, and the fact that many so called "Conspiracy Theories" turned out to Conspiracy Facts. Perhaps the biggest Conspiracy Theory of our age is UFOs. There was a focused effort to promote and cause confusion: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2254010/ . So how does one find the truth? Critical Thinking and logic. The most likely reality is Earth has advanced flying vehicles, and most "UFOs", especially the ones crashing lol, are highly advanced Earth-based vehicles. While always important to keep an open mind regarding extraterrestrials, the evidence we are being shown is more likely Earth-based tech.

Back to chemtrails- what would be the intended effect on the planet to add barium et al to jet fuel (or to spray directly)? Anyone who's done the research into the "Climate Change Conspiracy" sees that it's all about making money for a specific group. Any true scientist knows any time someone publishes papers with e.g. "98% of scientists agree ..." that's a huge red flag. Scientists by nature argue even more than camera people haha! And of course after examining the data and "evidence" it's quite humorous what they were trying to pull on the general population. It's business so it makes sense why they did it. However with chemtrails, who benefits? What's the purpose? "They" can put whatever they want in the food and water, so why bother spraying poison in the sky? Perhaps it's a distraction from fluoridated water? As fluoride increases, IQ decreases: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5285601/ . Why is fluoride still in our water? Even organic food has fluoride in it because it's in the water. You can remove (chelate) fluoride by taking boron supplements and drinking RO or distilled water (ideally remineralized). Interestingly, Santa Monica CA doesn't fluoridate their water. Why do they get a pass, why not more cities? We don't need to debate a "conspiracy theory" about fluoridation- it's toxic and reduces IQ, what's it going to take to get it removed from all of our water? There's lots more to research and debate regarding food and product additives that are known to be toxic vs. chemtrails (which may or may not have a nefarious origin). Probably best to focus on cleaning up the water, food, and home products first?

Cows emit methane which is a more serious greenhouse gas than CO2 so I see the implied connection however I recall the white contrails reflect solar irradiance thus mitigating somewhat local temperature. As for chemtrails I asked a believer at an End the Fed rally what was in them. Drugs, he said, probably tranquilizers. They need to increase the dosage.

Jet exhaust is a form of pollution, though, like automobiles, each new generation runs cleaner. Modern turbofan jet engines are significantly cleaner than the older turbojets. For example, the classic 707 would leave a streak of black as it flew through the sky. Modern engines are clear (except at altitude- the controversial trails).

Silver iodide is sprayed in clouds- to precipitate rain.

As for aluminum and barium being sprayed- it's possible those are jet fuel additives, though not very likely it's being loaded into special tanks and sprayed. When I did heavy metal testing, I found I was high in barium and aluminum (along with other metals) and was curious where the barium came from as I never had any barium related procedures (figured aluminum was from food and beverages, mercury was from amalgams and fish, etc.). In addition to fluoride, there's lithium in some water supplies (and sadly in some big cities high levels of lead (Newark, Detroit, Flint etc.). Not dismissing the possibility of (toxic) chemtrails; there are other pollutants/toxins/drugs in our food and water that we could focus on to clean up where the evidence is clear and present. Chemtrails could be part of a disinfo/distraction campaign (along with flat Earth etc.). For those skeptical about disinfo campaigns, see Mirage Men: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2254010/ .

Future jets based on electric engines and perhaps carbon nanotube supercapacitors or similar will have zero emissions.

If zero point (or similar) energy systems are made public, along with electrogravitic propulsion systems (using high frequency electromagnetics to reduce apparent mass/inertia while creating thrust (see "UFO" videos earlier in this thread)), then public travel will be possible with zero carbon footprint or pollution. There will still be manufacturing related pollution, so we'll still need to invent/implement technologies which can clean up the byproducts of making things.
