and yep, that's a Pee Wee line. Although he stole it from the cool guy in the leather jacket at the drive-in. ALSO, there's apparently a popular punk song called "I'm a loner, Dottie, a rebel"

yes, it was unintentionally cheesy (but cool) when James Dean said it. It was all cheese for PeeWee.

(and I didnt get the Snoop Dog-speak hint until much later after I posted) heh!!!

Worked on a feature here as a Cam op, and almost got fired for laughing at:

"Coach always said to take the game one basket at a time... So you gotta take your life one basket at a time, and right now, that basket is me."

This Top Gun line was so cheesy, in Hot Shots they used the same exact line unaltered.

Oh, now, the first three weren't that bad - at least the cheeseyness added to the overall effect (at felt kind of purposeful).

But yes. Any line from any SW film from '99 on, definately. Especially...

"NNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

I actually find every bit of dialogue in this movie brilliant. The play with popular music and its integration with the script just made this movie the best musical ever, IMHO.

Battuta, that "Top Gun" line haunts me to this day... Its one of those lines i REALLY want to use on a spoof movie...

" What is it? Blood. Maybe its Chris's blood" Not actually from a movie, but its part of my top 10 favourites one liners.

Any third person Mr. Myiagi-esque line from stereotipical Asian Kung-Fu Masters. "Ready to Protect? "
