checking camera head hours

I was wondering if there is a way and if so to check the camera head hours or the hours shot with the camera.

Go into your menu, select "7. Other Functions" and scroll all the way down to the bottom of the last page.

ok so does that mean the amount of hours the camera has been on? or the amount of hours in which the camera recorded something to tape? or what exactly does that mean?

I believe it is recored to tape and captured from tape....

Any time the heads are engaged with the tape (not in standby mode or when the power is off) it counts.
