The hard part will be figuring out where everyone is going to stay. We are going to have Leslie's niece here for the next month or so so she will be sleeping on the extra bed.
 
This one is all Dale's story but right up the same ally with it being very different so I was happy to work on it and I hope you enjoy this one also.

I've gone through all the mirrors and made sure the full film file exists for each film on each mirror (a couple were only partial files). It should work now if you re-download the film.

I have had 3 films not play through but that may be because I was downloading two at a time for a bit. Not any more! :)
 
It played all the way through for me. thought it was pretty cool kept my attention. some scenes worked better than others (scene on the workplace was edited or shot a bit messy). Also didn't really like the payoff.

The little spycam in the sink was very cool though :D
 
Okay! I got it!

Great job on CHECK! I love the title. It was funny because that is not what I was thinking that it meant before I saw it. I love those kind of surprises!

I loved the way this film is shot. I also love the music! I am going to have to go back to your credits and see how to sing those praises to but it's wonderful.

The story had me at a loss by the end. I will re-watch for sure... if anything for the soundtrack and visuals!

Great job!

I liked the twist at the end, I liked the fact there was some actual spying-on-people
going on, what wasn't clear, the 'purpose' of the story. It felt more like a thriller
because it's more about getting the person than getting information out of that
person. Nice effects though.
 
To me this started off slow but with a very filmic feel. right after the conversation in the hallway i was zeroed in and completely interested. the depth of field really worked for the better in this film. The only problem is I was left feeling like I didn't get it. Like, a secret organization that watches people and then inducts people into their crew like zombies? I get that the guy became one of them, I just would have liked to know who they were and why they were there.
 
I really enjoyed your entry. The opening scene with the little girl had me hooked. Also, I enjoyed the consistent color correction throughout the film. It really gave a sense of style and connectedness to each scene.

There were a couple of CU's during the conversation in the hallway that were a little distracting (they just looked too dark compared to the rest of the scene). But overall I thought your main actor was good and I enjoyed the ending.

Some people felt that the purpose of the story wasn't clear or that it should have been better explained who they were and why they were doing what they were doing. But I disagree with that sentiment.

It felt like a complete package to me and even though it did have me curious about those unanswered things...I believe that some things are better left unsaid and up to the imagination of the viewer. Especially for a short film.

Kudos.
 
Standard Disclaimer: I've watched half of the films so far and have yet to see a bad film. Congratulations to every film maker, everyone did a great job. All my comments and criticisms are meant to be constructive and helpful and in no way am I trying to take anything away from what you accomplished.

Good: Liked the idea of the little girl running the show. Good steadicam/hand held shots. Good cast. I really liked the ending of the film.

Not as Good: This is personal preference, but I thought the film would have benefited from different color correction. There wasn't much contrast and I think crushing the blacks could have matched the mysterious feel that the story had going on. Also, I think the main character should have been more afraid of the bad guys and the bad guys should have given him more of a reason to be scared of them.
 
Great picture.....tense the entire time and I love the direction the story took. Fantastic acting as well!
