Hey,

I've posted some scenes from my movie on the Witt's Daughter Website at http://www.crowdedmetrofilms.com. They are under videos when you scroll down on the page.

Working with Jeffrey Siljenberg, my cinematographer, I designed the look to be reminiscent of the warm color and lighting of mid century (1940's-1950's) illustrations. They were shot with Panasonic HVX 200.

Thanks for looking!
best wishes,
Carole Holliday

Nice job Carole! I can tell a lot of hard work went into the making of your film. I do have a question. The guys driving in one of the clips on your site....can you describe what did you did for the audio in that scene?

Thank you so much Kldster

This was a pick up day and my regular Sound man wasn't available. Unfortunately the other equipment was not all together working. Plus it was a windy day anyway. So towing the car in the wind just doubled the wind issues. We used lavs and while one was so so, the other one was a total disaster. it was so distorted that I ended up getting a deal at a post house and having to ADR the two men. A friend at Technicolor offered to mix it for me and he mixed in wheels on ground sound, but I sound edited car engine the wind and other cars passing, birds, music, etc. The one thing I didn't realize I should do when I did the ADR was have the guys speak a little louder as though they were talking over wind-- that was what the mixer told me I missed (that and the wheel whine) But the actors did a great job considering the blonde had never done ADR and the brunette had only done in a few times in someone's living room and not in a professional space.
