Cheating Cine-Look with Pulldown Removal

I've been working on a doc shooting 1080p24pa. The client says I can't bring my light kit to the next shoot, tomorrow — tripod and camera only. Is there a way I can shoot in video mode, in 1080, and perhaps remove the pulldown to achieve a film look? Kind of like shooting with the GH1 at 1080p? I'm hoping I can use natural light in video mode to compose my shot and then treat it afterwards. I know of some tricks in post but I'm wondering if I could achieve this with Cinema Tools or the like.

Keep shooting at 1080i24pa. FCP removes the pulldown automatically, giving you a true 23.976p sequence.
If you want it a bit more flim-like, try setting up your shot to increase DOF, avoid zooming, bring a reflector to even out the light...
