Cheating Anamorphic Look with Kashi 40 plug in AE

I went in regraded and added a bulge a la anamorphic lenses - kind of smoothed out the ftg too - lost a little resolution and makes it I think more organic.

I find more and more - the more I learn about color - the more valuable and beautiful the F35 CCD sensor is.

I am getting more and more tired of seeing everything shot on the Alexa or Red Epic - the motion cadence of the Sony F35 has something smoother and more enjoyable. And also a breathe of air away from the the new Sony F65 and F55 color gamut - it's just nice to have something different.

haha I love going back and messing with old footage :3

What's your grading workflow on this? still using neat video?
I really like the muted tones, purple hue and milky blacks! but for the subject, I do think you were spot on with the saturated look in your last regrade :P

Also I agree about the Alexa and Epic getting a bit tired, but it's not like they look bad. Unfortunately it's almost impossible to sell the F35 to producers unless it's some indie job with no budget... I bought mine knowing it's was only going to be for personal projects :)

Do you have anything in the works that's an F35 job that you could share? :) :)

Is same with any older camera. F3 too. Any camera probably older than 2 years LOL. You think red one is easier sell than F35? I don't think so.
