I am looking in investing in an HVX200 and was wondering what the cheapest price was currently for the camera? I noticed that B&H is selling it for 5200, is there anything lower out there?

Thanks,
Mike

That's pretty much it. From an authorized dealer, the cheapest you can reasonably expect is 5k, but those are usually on specials and not advertised prices, so you would have to call around.

Spec-Comm is listing at.... 5300 right now (I think. Around there anyways). If you pay by certified check, you also get an additional 2% off of your total purchase.

EDIT: I was just checking out the Spec-Comm site, and it looks like right now, they are offering the HVX200 w/ 16gig P2 card for 5,995, which is a pretty sweet deal. So, after 2% (rough, quick math) that would be around 5,875'ish....

That's basically the HVX for 5 grand, and a p2 card for around normal selling price of 875.

Spec-Comm is a great company and they take good care of you. Worth a looksie, or even better, just call them.
