I doubt it draws a lot of current, I tried looking at the specs on their website and its not very clear. Alternatively you can get a very simple 5 volt regulated supply off 12 volt battery packs using a hacked p-tap connector. You can buy a regulator LM7085, put 12v in get 5v out and heat shrink it all together like magic.
