Cheap Wired Lavalier (under $150)

Does anyone know of any cheap wired lavalier microphones for under $150? (XLR) I need it for some interviews, I've been using the Audio Technica AT-897 shotgun on a stand, but it's a bit of hassle to carry one more stand around so I'd like to move to a lav. Any suggestions?

Not sure if the pricing is exactly right for you, but look at the countryman EMW's. Good lav's for the price.

At899... good mic (probably not as good as your Trams or Countrymans, but better than, for example, what comes with the Sennheiser wireless kits), tidy little kit. Goes for $199, so a bit out of your budget. But they're worth it in my opinion.

The Gemini GEMLAVX4 is only $35 shipped and is an XLR lavalier. It actually looks pretty good on paper. I'm trying to see if anyone else has used it.
Might be worth picked a couple of them up just for the hell of it.

The Sony ECM-44 has been around for years, is under $150 at some dealers, is used primarily for broadcast and is very well liked by myself and others.

I was looking for the same thing but not neccesarily under 150... i guess I would go up to 250 if the quality was much better. I think the Sony ECM-44 is the way to go for me, since I use a Sony FX1 and really no good audio inputs. I have to deal with the 1/8" jack... and I have no phantom power...

so the ecm-44, with the AA power and a XLR to 1/8" adapter... around 200 bucks.

Anyone else say this is the best to go with in my application? I would like to get that Countryman B3 but I have no phantom power.... or is the difference that great?

I have not had experience with other brands but my 4 Tram TR 50's I have give me really good results. You can probably pick one up for under $100 on eBay... They also have the most mounting / clip on options out of all the lavs.
