Hey everyone I just received this email and signed up for this class and thought there may be some more interest here. so far I was told only 3 people have signed up so the class will be very small with lots of hands on time with full pro rigs and the price is only $200 for both days!

I am pleased to announce a special offer for anyone interested in Steadicam. Janice Arthur from Chicago has offered to put on this very special limited enrollment class on Steadicam.
Sign up quickly as class size will be VERY limited, so everyone has a chance to have maximum hands-on time with the equipment. Courses like this generally cost hundreds if not thousands of dollars, so this is a real deal.

Some info on Janice Arthur:

Janice has been operating and doing Steadicam for 23 years now and in fact
took the third class
ever taught. She has taught over 25 workshops over the years for the
Steadicam Operator's Assoc. and the Maine Photographic Workshops.

She has worked on everything from features like Groundhog Day to a Chingy
video to hundreds of industrials. Coming from a video background and
working in on the way up she knows it all.

Now, because Steadicam is no longer the specialty it once was, people can
now take a workshop and expect to go out and work. Now she has put together
a rental rig with the right accessories so that students don't have to
invest in gear in order to work.

If you take one of her workshops you can come to any future workshop for
free and practice.

I have nothing to do with this, but I'll still recomend this as a fantastic opertunity for anyone working in film or video, and especially of course for anyone interested in Steadicam.

Worshops are the best way to learn Steadicam, and a hell of a lot of fun.

Janice is a respected operator and has a reputation as a great teacher.

$200 for a weekned is a steal too! :)

I worked with Janice on a commercial and she is very talented. Don't be fooled by her diminutive appearance. She knows whats going on.

Sorry, this wasn't ment to be an advertisment I have nothign to do with the class or the instructor. I am just taking the class and though that it might interest others here as well.
