cheap sound monitoring headset for AF100?

For inexpensive headphones, any of the Sennheiser HD-200 series headphones are exceptional.

The HD 218, 228, 238 series range from $59-$99 at B&H.
 
Absolutely agree. We use these in our recording studio and they are great.

I would've included them, but I thought they were more expensive.

I was wrong, B&H $82.95.
 
I have the Sennheiser HD280 Pro's. I did extensive research and in its price category, it is one of the best set of cans hands down. It has EXCEPTIONAL noise suppression. You could have them on next to a busy highway and practically hear nothing! But, the side effect of this is they are practically like gun muffs. They squeeze your head pretty tight if you have a big head. And they can range on the bulky side.

They didn't work well with a shoulder mounted cam like my XL2. They constantly kept bumping into the side of the camera because it was next to my ear. For the AF100 though, you wouldn't have this problem because it's in front of you as your shooting.
