Hi all, been a while. Got away from video for a while and have been keeping with my still photography but have missed the "moving pictures" lol and bought myself a Bolex H8... yes I know that is film :happy:
I find myself in need of a rail system, nothing elaborate or expensive, just something fairly cheap I can use to mount a matte box in front of my Som Berthiot 10-40mm zoom on my Bolex. I do also need a matte box but due to funds I may have to wait a few days on that til a lens I have on eBay ends...
If anyone has a cheap setup with some decent length rails I would be very happy to hear from you, a PM would be fine. Thanks for any help guys/gals!
Also if anyone knows of an 8mm forum, or at least a traditional film forum maybe not specific to 8mm that would be very cool if you could let me know about it. I did a google search but came up empty handed.
(I do have a very nice heavy duty Majestic tripod and head that is super strong and geared I could trade, as well as a Polaroid back for Mamiya 645 with tripod adapter. I have these up for trade on APUG and LFF photography forums so if you shoot still photography maybe you might want a trade
