The DVX100 has been discontinued for 8 months now. Any old stock should have been sold off a long, long time ago.

I have just acquired dvx100 used and it seems to be fresh and clean. You might be able to find them on ebay. With 60 hours on heads and 1000 dollars less sheesh what is there to think about. I support second hand buying.

And, before responding, please note that there's a world of difference between someone ADVERTISING it at $2800, and them actually SELLING it at @$2800...

i only saw 3 stores on that list that has it around the $2800 price. They ARE NOT authorized dealers. Anyone can pull up google and search for the lowest priced dvx but most of these stores are ripoffs. I remember reading on the forum somewhere that had pictures of these so called online stores and if you could only see some of them, you'll understand why its important to buy from an authorized dealer. Well, thanks for posting the link. I still have mines for sale if anyone is interested. I don't know why i want to invest in a new camcorder cause this one is great but thats just how i am. I'm always looking at new things :-/.
