Hi folks, dont think thats something new. But maybe i can help someone with that.
I bought an older but renewed notebook with PCMCIA-Slot to copy P2-Cards without the camera because ill have a shoot where i have to shoot and to copy at the same time soon. It arrived today, i tested it and it works great and fast.
Its an IBM Thinkpad R52, for 200 €. You can connect FW and USB 2.0 HDDs.
Another nice effect is, that i can save Harddisk-Space because i can create folders instead of a partition for each card, even if there is just one gig recorded...
