Anyone know how to charge the internal battery that saves the time and settings? Do you plug it into AC power for a long time, leave a battery in it or ?
My FS700 lost the time settings so I kept a battery in it for a while. I think it solved it, I'm not sure, but that's how I remember it. I haven't used it for a while. Give it a shot.
In one of the Sony manuals - I think FS700 one I read that to use the AC power supply about every six months to charge the time/setting etc. I charge both the 700 and Fs100 that way to make sure they internal batteries are always charged.
