Changing to a new mac...

Santa brought me a new mac today (it was really heavy so he had to deliver it early). I'm trying to make sure I can transfer things over without a problem, but I can't seem to find a registration code. I found the quicktime registration numbers in the prefs of the program, and I have the FCP codes close at hand. My problem is I have After Effects 7 from way back in the day, and I can't seem to find where the registration numbers are on here. Are they stored in the program like QT & Flip4Mac, or are they hidden and you have to have that flingin' flangin' manual? If so, the multi-hour hunt will begin to find it, but I didn't know if it was just somewhere I wasn't looking in preferences or something.
 
If you use the migration assistant it should copy over all your registrations and receipts. There could be the odd program that doesn't work, but I haven't ever had a problem.
