Changing the color of objects

We are trying to change the color of just one thing on the screen (The sky).

We have no idea how to go about this, is this achieved with the camera or something external?

We'll have Sony Vegas and Magic Bullet (Ofcourse) to mess around with, can this be done with these programs?

As Blaine says, use the Secondary Color Corrector in Vegas. You can isolate that color and switch it to what you want.

If you have Magic Bullet, you can also change the look of the sky by using the Gradient function.
