changing edit format from 24p adv to 30 fps in FCP

Hello,

I'm editing in FCP with 24p advanced footage set up for DV-NTSC 24p (23.98), but I'd like to add 30fps footage into the edit. When I do, the 30fps clips don't look or move accurately. Does anyone know if (how) it's possible to mix formats between the 2 types of footage in one edit? In the meantime, this has stopped my work groove.

I've never tried/used Cinema Tools, but I have it and it seems like a possible solution...I'm gonna check it out.
