ch1 and ch2 sound not recorded when in F5 & F6

Hi, I did a search for this, but nothing came up.

Today I noticed that when I put the cam in the F5 or F6 settings an use two external mics (48v)(and settings are correct on side of cam) The level meter on the lcd does not register anything and nothing comes from headphones.

When I switch back to F1-4, sound comes back and levels on lcd work.

Am I missing something here?

Are you shooting DVX or HVX..You must have been in the P "N " mode, if your shooting HVX.

No sound is recorded if you are in an off speed frame rate like recording 48fpsm 60fps, etc (any other than 24fps) in scene file and 24pN mode recording setup - make sure the recording mode and the fps match for f5 & f6.

OK, this is what seems to be the problem, I was in a PN mode... will do some more tests later. Thank You!
