Century Optics 16:9 Converter? Experience?

it does the job (i used one on my VX2000 with dia 58) but no zoom possible (lost of focus and foggy image).
Depending the lens you wiill probably need one with a big diameter so the cost goes really high.
Panasonic is doing one too...
