i'm new to the dvx100b.

i'm wondering how effective using the century optics 1.6x tele is in throwing the background out of focus.

longer tele = narrower dof = images beyond focus point with be "soft".

those who have used the century 1.6x tele, have u been successful?

thanks in advance

be well

ps- what is your opinion of the century .7 wide angle lens?

The .7 "converter" lens lets you zoom through compared to a .6 "adapter" which does not. It alows for 30% wider shot.

PS. I think it weighs more than my camera+battery lol!! So if your doing hand held and not doing much zoom you might want to get the adpter... It depends on what you want to shoot

Didn't comment on it because I just got the 1.6 last week and have not taken it out for any shots yet... I plan on it real soon though, I'll report back when I do or if someone else wants to give there opinion too
