I've sold my HVX200 so I no longer need this wide angle adapter. Be aware that it is not a zoom-through adapter and focusing is best done in AF mode.
This adapter simply bayonets onto the HVX's lens. You can read about it on the Schneider Optics (they make the adapter) website:
