i film skateboarding and bmx, i currently have a vx2100 by sony but i wish to get the new panasonic hvx200, i was just wondering, does anyone knwo if the century lense for the dvx100_ series fits on the hvx200?
if so does anyone have a pciture of it, im curious to see

The bayonet on the HVX is similar in design but a larger diameter. We are just starting to deliver .6X wide adapters and 1.6X Tele-converters for the HVX200.

The annouced fisheye and .75X wide converter are not available yet. The fisheye is in production and should be available before NAB. The .75X which has been designed specifically for the camera, because of the wider angle lens and larger diameter of the front element, is targeted for April.

Bill,
Are there any step down rings or adapters (82mm to 72mm) available from Century Optics? Thanks

Bill I tried to email a question to Century but got no reply. Does the compact clamp matte box DS-MB44-BXC work with the HVX-200. Any vignette problems? And do Tiffen 4x4 (3mm or 4mm I think) filters fit?

Thanks, mico

Awesome news about starting to deliver these lenses. Now I can have more accessories sitting around doing nothing along with me while I wait for my HVX200 to show up. Oh happy day! :)

(sorry for the sarcasm.....just not hearing any news of anyone getting any new cameras is really getting to me!)
