Century Fish Eye on D90

Hey Lads,

I might be getting a fisheye for a good price.
It is the century Mk II model.

It is not photographic lens but an adaptor mainly used on DV cameras.
The quality is pretty decent since these things sell for 500-600 US.

Does anybody have any experience with using such an adaptor on DSLR cameras?

I thinkg the screw on thread on the thing is a 58mm.

I guess I would put it on a 18-70mm DX lens I have on my NIkon with a 67mm thread so I presume some step up/down rings would be needed.

Anybody have some thoughts or experience with this stuff ?

thanks mucho !

I dont know that it will work

The chip on small vid cameras is tiny compared to the D90 and the lens therefore needs to cover a smaller area (image circle)

Therefore your adapter may be horrible at the edges on the 90 or even not cover the recording area at all

Unless it is an adapter designed for DSLRs of course

Nikons own 10.5 fish is the answer with this camera for fish
