Centry Fisheye or .....?

I'm looking at buying a fisheye to go with the HMC. Is the Century 16x9 HDSF45X-77 EXII the one to get, or are there better ones at similar prices?

Century and 16x9 are two different companies. I have the 16x9 EXII in the mail right now. I will post footage when it arrives.

I own the opteka 0.4 and for the price i'm more than happy ! there is videos on the web for sure but you can see how it looks like on an HMC here :

BTW i have a fliter on all the time and i just have to zoom in a liiiiiiiitle bit coz of a micro piece of vignette which appears on one corner of my shots. But it's not a problem at all.

Interesting combination. BTW, Century offers their own Fisheye for the HMC while we also offer a very good alternative.

The quality of our lenses are superb. And, we decided to intro these lenses are aggressive prices. Moreover, you have the option to purchase as Bayonet or Thread (which fits similar sized cameras).

i've never seen any footages with the canon FEA3B on an HMC but it's not really the same category of prices anymore comparing to the 16x9 or the Century one.

I don't leave the shotty on when using it just wanted to take a quick shot of it. - The lens was $60 shipped on eBay with a hard case :-D

I also highly recommend the Opteka.. A great great lens for the price. I had the century for the HVX and I don't think there's really much difference if any on the final comparrison images, but the bayonetter mount is nice... but not worth 400 bucks. For 200 I highly recommend the Opteka.. but either way.. remember that you'll have too be constantly cleaning these fisheyes.. the slightest spot or spec is focused upon with the camera as they work in the macro focus range on the camera. If you do by the Opteka.. don't use the cheap spacer that comes with it.. It's crap.
