FS5: Center Scan or digital zoom Sony FS5

Center Scan is the better quality as it uses the HD part of the 4K sensor.. It also shoots through the centre of yr lens which is the sharpest.

Digital Zoom has to create its own pixels to zoom so is apparently inferior to Center Scan. But having said that, the quality of Sony's Digital Zoom is actually very good.

But do some tests yrself and blow them up 200 - 400% and see if u notice differences.

thanks BeeHop.. I have to test myself, but I wanted an opinion from forum.. nice presentation from Doug Jensen.only for center scan..
