CD SSD question

Hi there,

I was wondering if the CD SSD I'm owning might be multifuntional. When youre on a budget
everything need to be used at its best.

So I thought that when I'm in the cutting room I might be Using the CD SSDs as a cratch disk/export disk
instead of buying 2 new ssds. Or is this not to be recommended?

Cheers

You can use it that way, just make sure that when you return to using it on the Odyssey you must reformat it on the recorder. Computers automatically drop directory folders and other junk on the SSD which interfere with our operation. Reformat the SSD on the Odyssey and it will be fine to use again.

Thanks for your answer.

So I can plug the CD SSD in my Computer (SATA or USB3) delete everything from it and use it as a scratch disk? And then when I'm back on the O7Q I simply need to reformat it? Cause currently when I plug in the SSDs its always listed as a full disk on my desktop (which is as I understand it, done on purpose by the 7Q)

Cheers
