CD ProRes Transfer Tool

Mitch, I havent updated to Yosemite, Im still on Mavericks 10.9.4. Should it work for me?

I believe so as long as you load Java into your computer. That's something that Apple decided to make happen a while back.

There will be an update to the CD ProRes Transfer Tool shortly. Very shortly. I'm writing the documentation now.

Um.. I guessed the link for the 1.5 release and it's up but not announced yet, so use at your own risk! *Removed link*

EDIT/
Just tried it, v1.5 and it crashes, gets stuck on 0% and doesnt proceed from there... Going back to v1.4... Guess there's a reason it's not annouced yet. Taking the link down as well. :)

Thanks for trying. I guess we will just have to wait for an update from Mitch.

Thank you,

Sorry, thought was posted already. We'll get it up ASAP, but that might be Monday.

It is important to know that the utility runs on Java, so you need to have Java installed on your computer. If you're using a Mac that almost certainly means you don't have it. Install the Java 1.6 I noted on post #23 above and that should then who fine.

Version 1.5 is now up on our website.

Please remember that this is a Java-based utility. You will need to add Java to your computer if you do not have it already, otherwise the program will appear to load but then just sit there as described in earlier posts in this thread.

Mitch, is there a way to put up all former firmwares and softwares somewhere for archiving purposes?

I know a few users that would love to have access to the software to read the 7Q for future.
