Cd 7q not starting up

Hello.


Today I tried to update to the newest firmware. I followed instructions, inserted the SSD and put in the power cable. The recorder will not get pass the color-bar. Ive tried restaring with the button, the cable and connect it via power supply. Nothing works and it never gets pass the color bar.


This is a huge crisis for me as I have a very important shoot in a few days. I love the 7Q, but issues like this makes it to buggy to take seriously for my clients unfortunately. Might have to look for a new platform if it continues this way.


Please help me ASAP.

In situation like this, I would reach out the CD, but also to Dan Keaton. He has a big heart and really tries his best to help. I've had better luck with Dan than in house CD.

Sorry for all the stress you must be going through.
 
I had an issue once where my O7 just died during our pre-light day in nyc, I called Dan and he was able to set up a replacement within the hour, now i call that service.
