CCed Exported Footage showing colors differently

I did some major color correcting on an underexposed shot. In FCP the contrast looks fine. But when I export it, the blacks show up as grays and it looks awful. I exported using compressor using various codecs H.264 etc, but none of them solve the problem. Any suggestions?

First, don't trust what you see within FCP to be accurate at all. That is, unless you are monitoring externally with an accurate production monitor.

Second, how are you watching the exported files? QuickTime's viewing on a computer desktop is also highly unreliable.
