F5: CBK-55PD Encoder Board for F5 does it do 4k pro res yet

[GaryinCalifornia]

Looking up on it and it seems like everything says only 1080 pro res so far....

Also if it does 4k now.. how about 4k 60p

My understanding is that Sony is not supporting 4K ProRes with the upgrade board. I could be wrong, but I recall hearing HD only.

It currently does not do 4K prores, and my guess is it never will because Sony endorses XAVC for 4K recording.

Also, Sony's 16-bit linear raw is basically the same datarate as 4k ProResHQ... at which point it becomes a bit silly really, shooting 10-bit 4:2:2 instead of 16-bit linear raw for the same cost? It doesn't really make sense.

The Sony plan is to eventually provide ProRes 4444, but, not 4K.
