This does not include the rod support correct?

Just wanted to clarify that the rods are not included if I read the link page correctly.

The purpose of the thing is to reduce the influence of the side ambient light reflection from getting into the frame. This allows the camera to see only the pristine work of your lighting arrangement without residue messing up the image. This way, one can control the iris perfectly to the frame content and not side light, let alone the matte box holds a couple of filters and will allow rotation of one so that polarization and light intensity can be controlled and thus DOF more closely.

Well then there's, "YES" it does make the camera look more professional but that's only because when the matte box is applied it is usually a professional applying it and not for look but for effect and control.
